SEBI Grade A Recruitment is a prestigious exam for individuals aspiring to be Assistant Managers in the General, Legal, Information Technology, Research, and Official Language Streams. In this exam, candidates have to appear for 200 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions). This is an online exam which is conducted to test the knowledge and skills of the candidates.
Furthermore, there are two papers, each worth 100 marks. Paper-1 is for all applicants, regardless of their streams or disciplines.

Selection process Phase 2: online
Hence, the candidate who qualifies the SEBI Grade A 2022 Phase-1 exam is only eligible to take the Phase-2 exam. For that, a list of candidates who are qualified for Phase-II will be released, so they can go on to the next round of tests.
On the SEBI official website, eligible candidates can download a Call Letter. The applicant cannot enter without the Admit Card/ Call Letter. In addition, the Exam Center is mentioned in the Call Letter.
The Paper-1 is the same for all applicants taking Phase-2 as it is for Phase-1. The syllabus of this phase is the same as phase 1. However, the level of difficulty of the questions will be higher.

However, to qualify for Phase-II, you must score an aggregate of 40% in the exam.
Selection process Phase 3: Interview
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the SEBI Grade A interview. Here are some facts regarding the Interview stage that will inform the applicants about the final state:
- Candidates will not be refunded their application money if they are not selected for an interview.
- You can opt for any language for the interview either English or Hindi.
- The weightage of Phase 2 scores will be 85%, while interview marks would be 15%.
- Candidates who meet the minimum cut off marks in each subject will be shortlisted based on their Group Performance, which will be evaluated by the SEBI.
- The list of candidates who have been shortlisted for an interview will be posted on the SEBI website.
- Only the candidates who have been shortlisted will be contacted for an interview. Candidates who are not selected for an interview will not receive a return of their application money.
- SEBI reserves the right to alter the selection process if deemed fit.
